Walking tacos are a fun and portable way to enjoy a taco on the go! Seasoned taco meat is spooned into a small bag of your favorite tortilla or corn chips and topped with a pile of taco fixin’s for an all-in-one meal.

Description
Walking tacos combine seasoned ground beef with crushed Doritos and your favorite toppings for a fun, easy, and flavorful meal.

Cook Ground Beef
Use a large skillet over medium heat to brown the beef until no longer pink, about 5 to 6 minutes. -
Add Taco Seasoning
Add the taco seasoning & water to the skillet and cook until thickened about 2 to 4 minutes. -
Cruch Chips
While keeping the Doritos inside the bag, gently crush them until the chips are slightly broken. -
Add Taco Meat
Add a heaping ¼ cup of taco meat to each bag. Layer desired toppings directly into the bag of chips. -
Toss
Toss the ingredients with a fork until well combined.
Note
Choose your chips! Single-serve 1 oz. bags of Doritos are the perfect handheld option. Try a variety of flavors, Cool Ranch and Nacho Cheese are our favorites. Also, tortilla chips or any crunchy corn chips can work in this recipe.
Prepare the taco meat as directed and keep it warm in a small slow cooker. Guests can build their own walking tacos as they please.
This serves 6 and can be doubled or tripled if needed. Make sure to calculate to have at least ¼ cup of seasoned meat for each serving.
Use any flavor of chips, we love Cool Ranch Doritos or Nacho Cheese Doritos.
Meat can be prepared ahead of time and kept warm in a slow cooker.
