Mix Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, add the peanut flour, peanut butter, and water, and mix together, until combined and mostly smooth. If the mixture is too thick, slowly add more water until your desired consistency is reached. -
Add Salt And Sweetener
Add the salt and sweetener to taste. Transfer into a container or sterilized jar.
Note
Serving size is a heaping tablespoon (25 mls).
* For a richer flavor, use up to 1/2 cup of peanut butter.
** You may need more, depending on the brand of peanut flour and how thin you prefer your peanut butter to be.
TO STORE: This peanut butter can be stored at room temperature, covered, for up to 2 weeks. If you’d like to keep it longer, store it in the refrigerator, and it will keep for up to 2 months.
TO FREEZE: Place leftovers in a shallow container and store it in the freezer for up to 6 months.
Add water slowly. Different peanut flour brands absorb different levels of moisture, so you may need more or less water depending on the brand you’re using.
Don’t skip the peanut butter. You can make peanut butter with only peanut flour and water, but for the real deal, adding a little regular peanut butter is essential.
Make chocolate peanut butter. Add 1-2 tablespoons of cocoa powder.
Change the sweetener. Use honey to make honey peanut butter.
Add some crunch. Once the texture is perfect, fold in roughly chopped peanuts.
