Combine Ingredients
Place all ingredients in a large saucepan. -
Heat
Mix the ingredients together using a spoon over medium heat for a minute or so until the sugar dissolves and the sauce is nicely combined. -
Simmer
Bring to a simmer and continue to cook covered at a low temperature for approximately 20–30 minutes, stirring occasionally. -
Cool
When this is ready, remove it from heat once the sauce has thickened to your desired consistency and allow it to cool. -
Refrigerate
Refrigerate, covered, for up to two weeks.
